20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? 21...water broker @ 11 pm on a Friday night..Matty arrived @ 8pm the following (Saturday) night.

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Anthony...doctor and nurses
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural...with drugs
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Yes...but it still HURT A LOT!
25. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? 9 lbs. 1/2 oz...oh yeah, THAT'S WHY IT HURT!
26. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN? April 19, 1997...5 days ahead of schedule
27. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Matthew Blaise (Blaise (English translation of Biagio)....after Anthony's Dad, Biagio, who passed very suddenly on January 5, 1997, less than 4 months before Matty was born)...sad for me even to this day, 11 years later....he was overjoyed that we were having a baby, he and Anthony's mom gifted us the nursery Matty had, and he never got to meet him...they would have been best friends, Matty and his Nonno...Nonno would have gotten "it"

Reply to your comment on my 'sad day' blog....unfortunately we won't meet in St. Louis. We went to the last FX conference in Atlanta...on a first time scholarship. It's not in the budget to go again this year. Maybe another year we'll meet!
